This movie goes over the 3-point edit feature in Final Cut. This is where you can set the ins and outs in the viewer and place corresponding ins and outs in the timeline. The ins and outs take priority over the playhead in the timeline and automatically cuts the overlay video to the same duration that the ins and outs represent.
