The Ruby Makeup Academy Creates New Job Opportunities(December 13, 2012)
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 13, 2012
Even in times of financial unpredictability, the Ruby Makeup Academy (RMA) is creating enduring opportunities for persons interested in the fantastic worlds of beauty and entertainment. The academy is celebrating more than seven years as one of the fastest growing businesses in the Inland Empire of Southern California and now has stretched its reach to include N. Hollywood.
Ruby Polanco is the founder of the Ruby Makeup Academy and a minority business owner of Hispanic descent. She set out on a mission to build makeup training facilities in underserved urban communities. What began seven years ago with one branch in the San Gabriel Valley became in the last year three branches in Southern California. RMA also originally operated with just two employees and now has thirty-five. All locations offer full courses in professional makeup artistry, hair design, character and special effects makeup. The Temple City location is currently expanding to offer additional advanced courses and Polanco is planning on opening two more academies next year. http://www.rubymakeupacademy.com/locations.php
We are creating new jobs and new prospects, says Polanco. Times are hard, but the beauty and entertainment industries are not going anywhere, she continues. When I put it all in perspective, we dont just create jobs at the Ruby Makeup Academy, we create lifetime careers.
The Ruby Makeup Academy campuses service three locations in Temple City, Upland and now, N. Hollywood, CA. The academy provides training, certification and internships for people interested in a career in makeup artistry for television, film and theater.
